A rural run with minimal traffic along quiet, country lanes in the Hardington Vale on a beautiful, undulating course.

Most importantly, this year they are doing a team prize for the first 3 male and first 3 female club finishers. As I've stated before even those who aren't in the first 3 can help so the more the merrier, lets go in droves and bring it home! There is also plenty of cake.

10k starts at 11:30, £10 in advance (by post) or £12 on the day

2014 will see the fifth running of the Hemington 10K. The event is growing year on year, as runners converge on the small village of Hemington to tackle this beautiful, undulating and rural course. All the proceeds from the event go to Hemington Primary School and the attached Hornbeams Pre-School.

We also host a children's run in the fields opposite the school. This has been met with lots of enthusiasm from budding runners, who have been delighted to be introduced to the race atmosphere and finishers medals.

For the first time back in 2012 the 10K and Children's Run was supplemented by a middle distance Fun Run. This is a multi-terrain run of approximately 3.8km, aimed at older children and those adults who don't fancy the full 10K. It's popular and often muddy!

So, if you fancy a rural challenge in a wonderful location with plenty of homemade cake to help you celebrate your finish, simply download the entry form and come and join us! With the three runs to choose from there's something for all the family whatever the age or ability.
