Congratulations to everyone who ran the inaugural Gordano Round Marathon on Saturday, not least Teresa Oakes who was third female V50. Andy Hickman and Laura Collacott also came 5th man and 5th woman overall respectively.

Southville RC's Nightingale Nightmare 10k returned for its third running on Sunday 1st November and was bigger, better and spookier than ever before. The event sold out weeks in advance, and 182 runners completed the course for a record turnout.

Congratulations to all from the who completed the inaugural Bristol+Bath Marathon on 25th October 2015. A tough second half with some killer hills made for a challenging race.

Amazing running, stacks of PB's and the best support I've ever seen on a marathon.

Two Southvillers braved the first flurries of the Canadian winter on Sunday to run in the 2015 Toronto Marathon.

Great turn out by SRCers at the Weston Athletic Club's Prom Run on Thursday evening. Well done to all involved, especially Mike McBeth who picked up the 1st Vet 50 prize.

Well done to all SRCers involved in the Two Tunnels Marathon last Sunday. That includes the runners (incl Andy, Nick, Teresa and Jeremy), the Marshals (incl Aaron, Susan, Jo, Andy, James x2, Sonia & Sandra) and the supporters (incl Emma, Tom, Steve & Clare).

Well done to everyone who came out for the Bristol Half Marathon - both those who ran and those who provided such great support on Vauxhall Bridge and around the course. Thanks to James and Susan as well for a great post-race social afterwards.

Well done to the SRC Team at Woodchester Park off-road 8-miler! Great runs by Chris Stockdale who finished 4th, and Bryan Walsh who achieved his sub 1 hr target and John Cooper who "staggered in at 1.12.00".

Well done to all SRCers at the Chippenham Half Marathon today on what was described as a warm day but a cracking race.
