Well done to the SRC Team at Woodchester Park off-road 8-miler! Great runs by Chris Stockdale who finished 4th, and Bryan Walsh who achieved his sub 1 hr target and John Cooper who "staggered in at 1.12.00".

Well done to all SRCers at the Chippenham Half Marathon today on what was described as a warm day but a cracking race.
Feedback so far suggests it's definitely one for the diary for 2016!

Southville Running Club invites you all to our annual off road 10k Halloween themed race … the Nightingale Nightmare.

The race will be run on Sunday 1st November and will take in the beautiful Leigh Woods and part of the River Avon towpath.

On Tuesday 1st September our very own Ben Smith embarked upon a challenge of a lifetime, running 401 marathons in 401 consecutive days.
Ben’s aim is to raise £250,000 for two charities ‘Stonewall’ and ‘Kidscape’, two charities that work to combat bullying in schools and society.

Great run for Southville at the T.A.C.H Dundry Thunder, thanks for having us on a great evening with wonderful views.

Southville had home prizes across many of the age categories and also took first male team.

Excellent day's running at the Hemington 10km today organised by Hemington Primary School. The course is undulating with long but not too steep hills with a 750m bridleway splitting the tarmac sections to add interest.

The club discounted place offer for the Bristol Half Marathon has now closed. Places can still be purchased at the standard price from the RunBristol website. http://www.runbristol.com/events/bristol-half-marathon

Thanks to all who came out to support and celebrate the last day of the @2014kx365 by running the Green Man Challenge - a 46mile route which circles Bristol.

Congratulations to all the 134 runners who completed Southville RC's second running of the Nightingale Nightmare, our spooky 10k race around the trails of Leigh Woods.

Our club HQ is in need of some refurbishment so Jess is planning a number of things. But he needs the funding for it. Don't be put off thinking its just about a mural - that's a bonus. It's more about repairing the roof!

Fantastic - possibly unprecedented - results from the Dundry Thunder 10k tonight. In keeping with Southville spirit, I will start by saying it was a superb effort from everyone, regardless of position and time, over a really tough, hilly, muddy, rutted, brambly, proper cross country course.

Here are the results from Southville Running Club's Brandon Blitz, that took place on Sunday 18th May, 2014.
