The Christmas newsletter is out with social news and dates for your shiny new 2022 diaries.

In the years BC (Before Covid), SRC put on the occasional New Members Social. We thought that, as we have had a lot of lovely new members this year, we should have another one!

The November 2021 newsletter is out with details of our upcoming Annual General Meeting, social news, and how to join us on the first post-lockdown SRC weekender in Cornwall next year.

It’s been a long time coming but after 2 years it’s time to celebrate Christmas in in typical SRC fashion!

Please email info@southvillerunningclub.co.uk if you are an SRC group leader who is currently meeting outside the Southbank.

Our first post-November-lockdown running night was held on Thursday 3rd December, initially as a one off; however, thanks to new volunteer deputy co-ordinator James Gale (and Otto Karhunen who is acting as backup) we are now able to return to regular running nights on both Tuesday and Thursdays f

Under the new lockdown which begins Thursday 5th November, running in groups is again banned.

SRC Tuesday nights are suspended until such time as the rules change again and mini-groups of up to six may also no longer be organised under Government rules.

Tuesday 20th September will be our last night meeting in Greville Smyth Park, due to the lack of light once the clocks go back.

On 18 August we returned to meeting for Tuesday running nights under the Government's "Covid-secure" rules.

On Monday 1 June the Government slightly relaxed the rules on exercising outdoors in groups.
